Scholarships

There are multiple scholarships with different deadlines. Please see a current listing and application below for each available scholarship. Please read the description for each scholarship before applying. Any scholarship received after the deadline will not be considered. A limited number of scholarships are available. We strongly encourage students and families to submit their applications early as each application is presented as they are received to our Board of Directors.

Those who receive a scholarship may be asked to write a thank you letter to our donors or to speak at our annual Fall Tea, which raises funds for scholarships.

Students must be successfully enrolled in one of our programs to receive the scholarship. No student will be considered for a scholarship until registration has been completed. To register for the 2022-23 Academic Year visit go here (to come).

If you have questions or need assistance, please contact us at (219) 932-3232 or at hello@bbb4e.org.

2023-2024 Academic Year Scholarships

Financial Scholarship

Ages: 5-18
Programs: All
Deadline: November 14, 2023.

Our financial scholarships are awarded based upon the financial need demonstrated in the documentation provided by the family. You will be asked to present your 2021 tax return after your application has been successfully submitted and accepted. Scholarship amounts vary and may cover as much as 75% of your tuition.

There is a popcorn fundraiser each year to help you pay tuition. Sales from your participation will be directly applied to your tuition account. Families will be responsible for paying the remaining balance of their tuition for the Academic Year.

Writing Scholarship

Ages 14+
Programs: Midwest Youth Choir
Deadline: November 1, 2023

Our writing scholarship is available for students ages 14 and older. This scholarship should be completed mainly by the student applying as this is a writing-based scholarship. Parents will also have a section to write as well.

Scholarship amounts vary for those awarded and can go up to 100% of your tuition for the Academic Year. Families will be responsible for the remaining portion of their tuition.

This is a student-based scholarship, not families. If you have more than one student in your family who wishes to apply, each student must fill out an application. The writing portion for parents needs to be different for each student and reflect the student.

Writing for this scholarship may be used in newsletters or testimonials in our printed materials.
