Return to Bookmaking: One Night/Two Stories Event

March 1, BBB4E hosted One Night/Two Stories: a family bookmaking night. Families shared a free supper at Hammond Central High School. Without technology students and parents came to the workshop with a story idea. They wrote and drew stories about creative characters, wacky animals, and their families. Each book was handwritten and folded in a unique way to match the format.

Staff members and Board members joined to help stitch books. It was great to see the participants read their newly bound books to each other.

BBB4E's next writing workshop will be Poetry Pantry, April 1 at the Gibson Woods Nature Preserve. Registration for the free public event is open now. We hope to see you and your family.
