Registration: 9:00 - 9:30a.m.

Workshop: 10:00a.m. - 3:00p.m.

Fee: $12, $10 for each additional sibling/family member.  This includes lunch and workshop materials.

Join us as Books, Brushes & Bands for Education, in partnership with Purdue University Calumet present a writing workshop for students in elementary, middle, and high school.  Also, new this year, we will add an adult section to our workshop.  The theme, of course, will be poetry, and we will showcase many ways in which poetry can be written, and performed.  Lunch will be included, and we will conclude the event with a presentation of the work in Y Jean Chambers.  As always, there is no residency restriction to participate.  Please call our office, 219.932.3232, to register.

Merit Fest

Choral and Instrumental students of Books, Brushes & Bands for Education will join students of the Merit School of Music, Chicago, for a concert which will feature a wide variety of music, both large and small ensembles, along with guest soloists.  This event is free, and open to the public.  Tickets will be on a first come first serve basis, there is no advanced seating.

Choral and Instrumental students of Books, Brushes & Bands for Education will present our annual spring concert. Join us as we present a variety of music, some old and some new, in a concert setting that will please audiences of all ages.  This event is free and open to the public.
